Starting to exercise!
I am beginning to incorporate mild exercise into my routine. Of course I’ve been looking at the workouts on workoutsondemand and love that they’re convenient enough to do just about anytime. I’ve lost 3 more pounds and think that the weight loss will be quicker if I add exercise instead of just using my diet to lose the weight. I’ve been thinking about how to start. Do I want to start with some easy walking around the block? I’m very out of shape…going upstairs gets me winded! Or do I want to try doing a workout video first? What do you guys recommend? I’m unsure of whether I want to get some cardio in or try one of the “softer” videos like Piloga or yoga.
Been doing good on my diet of course, although I did allow myself a 4 oz. steak the other day. I don’t think I can give up red meat totally! Mostly I am working on continuing my weight loss, I think I only have about 23 pounds left to go until I reach my goal weight. I can’t wait for this weight loss to speed up so I can start seeing more results! My jeans are fitting a little a better though!
Acai And Colon Cleansing Followup
I’ve lost a few pounds on my new acai berry and colon cleansing diet, but nothing remarkable. I think losing weight slowly is the best way to go though, right? Those yo yo diets where you lose a bunch of weight really fast don’t work because you gain everything back.
I feel better though, I am more regular and I seem to have a little more energy then before. Also I am not jittery or cranky like on other diet pills! I am going to keep using this through the new year and see what happens and how much weight I can lose.
I’m Jessica, New Here
Hey guys, I’m Jessica and I’m new to Workouts…I’ve never joined a workouts forum before, but there’s a first for everything right? I usually start working out and getting fit in February or march to get ready for Bikini season, but I think I want to get a head start this year. I also want to look great in my jeans, boots and cute sweaters!! I was browsing around at the different videos on Workouts and they all look great. Does anyone here have any suggestions on the best workout video? I don’t want something too intense, but not boring either. let me know!!!
trying to stay in shape during winter…
i am a marathon runner and it is hard for me to stay in shape during the winter. i have a high metabolism because of the running, but turkey, ham, stuffing, pies…they really get to me during thanksgiving and christmas. i never go overboard, but i think this year i am going to start working out indoors or doing some kind of modification so i can stay in shape before marathon season starts. it’s hard to start training right away, after no exercise for several weeks or months, depending on how often the runner exercises.
so i am going to start eating lean protein and avoiding carbs, and i’m going to be eating a lot of protein bars. i want to give my body the fuel it needs this winter instead of collecting fat cells like i always do every year. (who doesn’t.) because i am a runner, i know that i will need a high cardio workout, something that will really get my heart thumping. i am not as interested in muscle toning, but a good cardio workout that does both would be right up my alley.
i am going to take a look right now around workoutsondemand and check out what they have here….
