Good news!

by Susi Smith, under Uncategorized

Hi all –

I am on a roll! The workouts are going great (I am especially liking the pilates ring workouts!!!) — but I do have a few questions I thought I’d post:

1. What can I do on those days when I hardly have time to brush my teeth? :-) I mean, I know it has to be a decision to workout — but having two kids can make my day so unpredictable!!!

2. I seem to be getting “the munchies” every single night. And I don’t even think I’m hungry, but I don’t seem to be able to stop! I’m not going crazy or anything — but I would really like to get a handle on this (as that one of my goals is to loose 7 more pounds).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Working out with a sore knee

by Jonnie, under Uncategorized

Oh, man!  Again, my right knee is feeling a bit tender.  I am so bummed becasue I was really making progress and working out consistently 5 days a week for about 6 weeks.  So, yes I have to back off.  No running or cardio kickboxing for me for a few weeks — but I think I can still do my Piloga workouts!  Thank God for that.  In the mean time, does anyone have any suggestions what I can do while I heal?  Or how I can get better faster so I can get back to my workouts?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Record pace for me!

by Andrea Jones, under Uncategorized

Running has never been my strong point. In fact, I can honestly say — I am really slow and it’s tough for me. I can never get in that place of “zen” or a relaxed meditation state. For me, I’m just thinking — When is this going to be over!! LAL

After being recommended to try Yoga for my running — I am thrilled to report my time has drastically improved. From running about 4.2 miles per hour (around 14 minute mile) I have increased my pace to about 4.6 miles per hour! Clearly, Im not in contention for a gold metal, but it is a personal best and it feels great! What the yoga has seemed to do is help me focus and concentrate. It has also helped me find a natural, relaxed pace. Before the yoga, I seemed to speed up and slow down a lot — Now my pace seems consistent and natural (and therefore requires less energy!)

Thanks Workouts On Demand (again!) — This recommendation has really changed my workouts.

Toned and Strong

by michellannbarlow6, under Uncategorized

I have been doing some toning and strength training videos after losing my baby weight, and I must admit, my body is looking really good. Bikini season here I come! I have toned my stomach area enough that I can wear a bikini and it won’t look bad, but I think in time my skin will just have to go back to its original shape if it ever will. Thanks so much workoutsondemand.com for providing great, different and amazing workout videos for busy moms with virtually no time to workout. My baby is getting so big, she is absolutely precious!
