Build a Beautiful Body With Pilates Exercise Videos

by Pascale Thomas, under Exercise videos, Free exercise videos, Pilates, Uncategorized

Moms are always thinking about everyone but themselves, but doing Pilates with exercise videos every day is an investment in health.  Pilates really helps people stay in shape and be very strong, even when they have injuries.  Also, with summertime rapidly approaching, everyone is worried about how they will look in a swimsuit.  Some people will not even dare to put on a bathing suit-let alone a bikini- at all this year.  That is a true shame because it is sad to miss out on fun times with friends and loved ones just because you are embarrassed of how you look.  There is still time to lose weight and get in shape before summer.  Read on to discover how to build a beautiful body with Pilates exercise videos or find pilates exercise videos right for you by clicking here.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is an exercise that was originally created for dancers who wanted long, lean muscles.  Pilates creates fluid motion from a strong center.  Having a strong abdomen or center area is a very important goal of Pilates.  Most women, especially mothers who have given birth via Cesearean section, have a problem with this very area. Don’t worry if you think you don’t know how to exercise.  The teachers go at a very patient pace.  Pilates is a system that teaches little by little and gets great results.

What are the Benefits of Practicing Pilates?

The benefits of practicing Pilates are many.  For one thing, Pilates really focuses on six major areas:  breath, concentration, control, centering, precision and flow.  This type of exercise puts great focus on breathing because Pilates felt that circulation is what heals the body.  Another important focus of Pilates training is on the center of the body.  Pilates felt that if this area was weak, it could make the whole body weak.  This is just what moms usually need to work on and they may do so with workout videos.  Pilates makes women look great and feel strong and healthy.  Pilates tremendously helps focus.  Sometimes, moms are thinking about so many things at the same time that everything seems confusing.  Pilates ends all that and really improves mental concentration to benefit the body and overall life as well.  Pilates does not put stress on the joints and that is very important.  Take the beginner Pilates program at first in order to get the system down and get fantastic results.  Anyone who wants to be strong and flexible can make the commitment to learn Pilates.

What is the Best Way to do Pilates?

The very best way to do Pilates is with exercise videos. This is because it really is so difficult for moms to get out of the house sometimes.  Then there is the problem of finding a babysitter and the financial cost of that as well.  By the time all this is finally in place, moms are too exhausted to go to the gym at all.  Besides, the gym can be so embarrassing at times.  It is easy to feel very awkward, like everybody is staring uncomfortably at you.  Also, who knows how to use all those complicated machines?  Pilates is a graceful series of movements that feel artistic to perform and can transform the body for strength and flexibility.

That is why video workouts make such incredible good sense.  Workout programs only  benefit you when they are done consistently.  Consistency is the most important thing with working out.  Being able to have workouts at convenient times and in the privacy of home is absolutely priceless.  It will feel so great to be able to steal a few moments for self improvement at last.  The workouts can be done as often as desired, when the baby is sleeping or the kids are at school, right in the comfort of home.  Click here to save 45% on exercise video downloads.

Yoga helped my 5K run

by Jonnie, under Uncategorized

Just finished a 5K run.  And before I go on, let me tell you, Im not a very good runner.  In fact, I am really slow — most of the time I get my cardio through Step classes or Kickboxing, but I do enjoy the challenge of a 5K.  Until this weekend, my best time was 41:22, and after doing Yoga for about a month, I completed the 5K in 38:34.  Clearly, it’s not record time for an Olympian, but it is for me.  And the only thing I did different was added Yoga 2 days a week.  I think the reason for it is the breathing exercises and the stretching — whatever the reason, I am sold on Yoga.  Love it!!!!

A Busy Mom’s Solution to Weight Loss: Exercise Videos

by Pascale Thomas, under Exercise videos, Health and fitness, Staying Motivated

Sometimes it does not seem like there are enough hours in the day to work, take care of the kids and then to take care of one’s self with a good exercise video.  But if you are looking to loose a few pounds and burn some fat, cardio workouts are the best types of workouts because they get your heart pumping and once you get started, you can have a little fun and get lost in the workout.  No one wants to dread their workout – and you don’t have too.  You have to bust your butt all day long for those you love, why not “bust your butt” for yourself with a nice, sweaty workout that is bound to make you feel fabulous.

Why It Is Important For Mom’s to Stay Healthy

A great way to bond with your kids is through exercise.  And by being active and fit you are teaching your children through example how to take care of themselves and how to grow up and become strong, confident adults. As a mom, you want only the very best for your family – by living a healthy lifestyle, you are giving your family what they need, which is a healthy mom and a positive role model.  You want to stay healthy to live a long and healthy life alongside your children, don’t you?  When they go to play in the park, don’t you want to be right there, by their side, chasing them up the slide?  When you’re kids ask you to go biking together, don’t you want to be healthy and strong enough to enjoy that special time?   A good cardiovascular workout will not only help you loose weight and burn fat, but it will give you the strength and energy it takes to keep up with your kids and still have energy left over!

The Excuses Stop with Exercise Videos

A lot of moms put off working out because they do not think that they have enough time in their day or cannot afford a babysitter to go to the gym, or you cannot afford to go to the gym at all.  Well guess what ladies.  These are no longer excuses to put off your health.  Exercise videos can solve any problem that you have.  You do not need to spend hundreds of dollars a year for these workouts, you do not have to fit your workout into the gym’s schedule and you can do your workout at home so there is no need for a babysitter or to leave your teens alone at home.

With an exercise video you can put the baby to bed and then work off those pounds after she falls asleep.  Workout videos are truly the “no more excuses” type of workout.  You can get your dance on with a little Zumba which incorporates all kinds of different dance steps from latin dances and hip hop, or you can “Step” your way to a smaller body with Step aerobics.  Or if you like a back to basics workout that is easy to follow, consider Cardio Kickboxing or maybe Cardio Bootcamp.  Other cardio workouts that many working moms love to get involved in include circuits training, interval training, spinning, or even Cardio Hip Hop – why not?  You are at home in the privacy of your living room – no one is watching so you can cut loose and try a few new workouts!

Do you want to burn off the pounds?  Do you want to have fun?  Then, start dancing your booty over to the television so that you can pop in one of your favorite cardio exercise videos and start losing those pounds today.  You will feel great; look amazing and most importantly you will be the healthy, happy mom that your children deserve.  Find the perfect exercise video with your needs in mind today.

I Said NO to not working out

by Andrea Jones, under Health and fitness, Staying Motivated

Yesterday was one of “those days”. I was up at 5am and the day did not stop until 10pm. It was crazy, absolutely non-stop. Then at about 7pm, I thought “Man, I just don’t have time to workout today, everything else is more important.” And that’s when, for the first time, I heard myself say those words. What was I thinking? What could be more important that working out? What could be more important than my health? And it always makes me feel better so thinking it be best to pass on the workout is just plain silly. Without even thinking about it, I put on Piloga and starting exercising. For the first 5 or so minutes, my mind was still racing and feeling guilty about taking time to exercise, but then I said to myself “Live in the moment and this moment is about working out.” and before you know it, I was totally in my workout and feeling better.

I challenge you, the next time you say you have no time to exercise — Say NO to not working out and see how great it makes you feel.
