Day 6 without sugar – this is harder than it looks
My commitment of 10 days without sugar has been good, but tough. I clearly enjoy sugary snacks. And to make matters more challenging, I also committed to not using artificial sweetners — so no Diet Cokes!!! So far, I do ok until around 6pm when I just want something yummy so so bad. If it wasn’t for the fact that I made a commitment for 10 days and I told my husband what I was doing, I would have given up several days ago. Clearly, telling someone you love and trust about your committments really does help to see them through to the end — accountability is a good thing when trying to make a change for the better!
Anyway, 4 more days. What do I plan to do after the 10 days? I don’t know — maybe by that time I will not want a cookie, but I doubt it! But Im at least hoping that my cravings will at least be less and I will simply have a dessert once or twice a week (instead of every day!)
