10 Days Without Sugar – Done!
WEll, it wasn’t easy and I don’t know that I will do that again, but it was interesting. I completed 10 days without sugar and without sugar substitutes! Wow, everything has either sugar or a sugar substitute, even good healthy food choices! The hardest thing was, not having diet coke. I just love that bubbly, sweet, refreshing drink.
To wrap it up, here is what I learned:
1. I need to cut down my diet cokes, when I drink less of these I drink MORE water, and that is a good move.
2. Cutting down refined sugars increases my energy levels. By choosing foods like fruit to satisfy my sweet tooth actually makes me more energized.
3. I do love sugary snacks, and a few of them are ok!
